It was a cold spring Sunday eve when we made our ways up the treacherous stairs that stood between us and the band room at Melbourne’s The Toff in Town. A magical air filled the room as we found a seat and a glass or two of red and comfortably prepared for Communion’s third monthly music showcase.
With a lineup including some of the town’s finest young up and comers, the night was always going to be a pretty special one. We had the absolute pleasure of seeing Battleships, Ainslie Wills, Packwood, Hayden Calnin and James Keogh, (of Vance Joy fame) take to the lantern-lit stage and perform music in the loveliest ways imaginable. Here’s our wrap up of yet another spectacular evening.
