The music of Ainslie Wills is something pretty spectacular. I’m yet to hear anything quite like it elsewhere and she goes about crafting each element in all the right ways. With her powerful yet ethereal voice, seeing Ainslie perform is a pleasure for all who are lucky enough to be in the room. If you’re yet to witness the brilliance that is Melbourne’s lovely Ainslie, firstly you’re crazy and secondly, (Melbourne folk,) you’ve got the chance to redeem yourself on the 18th! As well as that, she’s playing a few shows around the country this month and you’d be best to do what you can to get yourself there.
As an added bonus, the talented songstress also happens to be a completely lovely lady who we recently had the pleasure of spending some time with. In a bustling cafe in Melbourne’s CBD, Ainslie and I had a chat and some coffee’s while she told me all about the musical journey she’s travelling.
