Rooftop Bar & Cinema

If you call Melbourne home or even have visited more than once, chances are we won’t be introducing you to anything new today. That said, maybe we’ll offer a reminder to those that have forgotten that 7 stories up on the roof of Curtain House sits Rooftop Bar & Cinema. Now that we’ve had 2 days in a row of 30 degrees it’s time to hit the stairs and find yourself on top of the World (assuming the world is no more than 7 stories up) enjoying a ice cold pint whilst you enjoy the views of the city below. On offer is ample seating with big umbrellas offering protection for the more sun sensitive patrons and if you can’t find a free seat pull up a square of astro turf and kick back as the the light dims and and the good vibes flow. Not only can you kick back with a pint or 3 but All Day Burgers are serving up some of the towns finest beef, chicken or mushroom burgers. That combined with a side of fries and some of their tangy tomato relish and you got yourself a bang-on start to your evening (or lunch). Over the summer months hit up Rooftop Cinema every night of the week except Friday for some classy cinema options. The umbrellas and bar seating is cleared out only to be replaced by 160 Ici Et La deck chairs. As the sun sets, grab yourself an ice-cream a glass of vino and kick back to a screening of Casablanca. Make sure you book ahead though as tickets often sell out or you’ll be stuck eating for take out beef and black bean whilst watching terrible Home and Away re-runs in your mum’s lounge room.Rooftop-Page-2Rooftop-Page-3Rooftop-Page-4Rooftop-Page-5Rooftop-Page-6Rooftop-Page-7Rooftop-Page-8Rooftop-Page-9
