Here at SW, we exist in the Melbourne CBD and its surrounding suburbs almost exclusively. We work tirelessly to discover the hidden gems of our city that are special enough to tell you about and do so with the utmost joy because lets be honest, we think Melbs is the greatest city going round. With that said, its no secret that Melbourne’s reputation of hiding things extends far beyond the grid of the city. Scattered throughout our beaches and forests are places well worth a visit or two and Get out of Town intends to tell you all about them.

Jump in the car and drive for a while. Uncover the mysteries of our coast’s, walk for miles through a rainforest, climb a mountain, swim in a lake. Be inspired by the beauty of a land so diverse and magical that it’s classed the most livable in the werld. We won’t tell you everything we know, discovering for yourself is all part of the fun. But what we will share are a few of the secret spots we’ve stumbled upon that are eagerly awaiting your arrival.

So please, Get out of Town.

EP. 1: The Warburton Rail Trail

Hidden somewhere within the Yarra Valley, lies an abandoned railway turned breathtaking bike trail known as The Warburton Bike Trail. Think endless fields of green grass, horses grazing under century-old trees, bunny rabbits frolicking in the sunshine and butterflies fluttering their wings in the light spring breeze. Yep, that’s where this winding road leads.
